Gender Equality Plan (GEP) - 2026-2028

Hub Nicosia launched its Gender Equality Plan in 2026, reiterating its unwavering dedication
to fostering a culture that is inclusive, respectful, and equitable for all.

 

The Gender Equality Plan is a set of measures that will help embed gender considerations into its organizational culture, hiring practices, training, and community work. The Gender Equality Plan is informed
by Horizon Europe’s guidelines, the GEAR tool and Cyprus’s national framework on equality.

 

Our GEP focuses on: â€‹

  • Work-life balance and organisational culture

  • Gender balance in leadership and decision making

  • Equality in hiring, pay, and professional development

  • Prevention of gender-based violence and harrassment

​

With its efforts, Hub Nicosia aims to build a workplace and learning culture where gender equality is not only promoted but championed.

​The GEP is publicly endorsed by Hub Nicosia’s Board and Executive Director and is supported by dedicated human and financial resources. A Gender Equality Committee oversees implementation and monitoring.
